Why is it so hard to make changes in our lives?
This picture is one of a clock I have in my home; I look at it many times over the course of a day. I have had it in the same spot for at least five years. I rearranged several items recently and the clock now sits about four feet away from the original place.
It’s been interesting for me to realize that even though I consciously know the clock is no longer where it was, I continue to look there first. It’s amazing that it’s taking so long (4 weeks), but I’m working at it. Try it and notice how it works for your.
We can see how difficult it is to make just one simple change, like moving an object to an unfamiliar place. So if we want to change something – a thought, behavior, or feeling – that has been with us for a long period of time, how do we do that?
It has to do with gaining The Inside Advantage. I invite you to read more of this blog at CWLauro.com
Thanks for joining me this week. Enjoy YOUR moments!
