During my visit this month to New York City, as I mentioned last week, one of the highlights was visiting the 911 Museum and Memorial. As I walked around, lingering over artifacts, listening to audio recordings, and watching videos, I was reminded of so many things about that tragic day and the aftermath. It really touched my heart deeply!
As I stared at what was left of a fire truck –Ladder 3, I was reminded of the firefighters who lost their lives – all of them from this company. I saw bloody shoes, wrist watches, and papers from offices now vanished, pieces of what was—remnants of what started out as a beautiful, sunny, normal day.
I invite you to visit my website CWLauro.com to read about TWO more things I saw there—one is about the photo above.
I’m glad I went; it was a way of honoring all those adversely affected. And, after leaving the museum I went to a wonderful Italian restaurant and enjoyed pizza and wine; life is meant to be honored, celebrated, and LIVED deeply. (That’s what gaining The Inside Advantage is all about!)
Go see the 911 Museum and Memorial if you can. Honor them and be joyful, too.
Thank you for joining me this week.
Blessings, Love & Light,
