I realize how blessed I am and I am so very grateful. I just returned from a two week trip to FRANCE, starting and ending in Paris, encircling the country. It was a whirlwind bus tour with some free time. It was probably the best way to see so much in a short period of time.
I now have hundreds of happy, new memories that I will always cherish. I took so many photos! At times there seemed to be so much going on at once – passing historical monuments and treasures, and beautiful scenery quickly before I could get my camera ready. I had to continually remind myself to use my eyes and actually SEE what was there rather than always looking through the lens of the camera.
My eyes worked overtime trying hard to take it all in. Don’t get me wrong – photos are extremely important to me. They are however, only REMINDERS of what I saw, smelled, tasted, heard, and how I felt in those moments, so I had to make sure I was BEING there as I took it all in.
Please join me in the following weeks as I share some of my journey in France, and visit my website blog at CWLauro.com to see photos from FRANCE!
By the way, TIA is spelled today with Echinacea capsules, which I took to France to help me fight off illness; it worked!
Thank you for reading my blog. Until next time…
