BLOG: Feeling Sad, Angry, or Fearful?

Reflections:  First, I’m thinking of my Daddy today on the date of his birth — Happy Happy Birthday my precious one! Miss you so much!

You can try this sometime if you like to help release negative feelings (sadness, anger, or fear):

When a strong negative feeling appears in your heart and related thoughts enter your mind, instead of pushing them away or deeper inside, sit there and give yourself permission, and a few minutes, to experience these thoughts and feelings for a change. Let the tears come if needed. Then, imagine the negative energy leaving your mind and body as if you are being cleansed on the inside; I imagine it leaving through the soles of my feet.

Now there is more room within — sense being filled with God’s golden light and love, pouring through the top of your head, flowing down through your heart and body all the way to your toes. Breathe in life, feel God’s love and the love you have for yourself.

Let your heart be uplifted and joyful—feeling light and carefree! This is a great way not only to treat yourself with loving kindness, but also to connect with God more deeply.

This is what I call gaining The Inside Advantage.

It’s important to take more control over how we feel; it’s not good for us to linger for long in negative energy.

May you be blessed each and every day!

I invite you to look around on my website to see what might brighten your day.

Thank you for joining me on this life journey. See you next time…

Blessings, Love & Light,
